Be With Beauty

From our trip to the canyons.  A view of the Colorado River which we followed most of the way to Utah and back.   Road builders follow rivers as they have made the first cut through any mountains.  This was at a rest stop on I70 in Colorado heading east and about an hour and half from home.  We almost missed the turn off  and it appears to be little used, but was one of the most peaceful:  we will revisit it in the future.   It circles around the river.  The mother duck and her babies, seen as a little speck in the river, were ambling across the road when we pulled in.  Didn’t take much braking not to hit them for which we were very grateful.

Remember that Being with Beauty means breathing it in and consciously focusing if only for a few seconds.  Better to focus briefly than to only half see.  Stay strong.
