FOCUS, BREATHE IN SLOWLY, STAY FOCUSED, HOLD FOR A FEW MOMENTS, BREATHE OUT SLOWLY AND SAY “AHHHH” OR “THANK YOU.”
END OF ICE AND SNOW PICTURES The Winter Solstice and the New Year herald the coming of spring. This is a picture of my patio’s metal flower held up by a toy frog. Keep it up all winter to remind me Spring comes.
Part of Staying Strong means knowing things change and when there is snow or ice creating winter gloom, that in this world in time spring will bloom. It does not mean making light of some struggles, only holding on as best you can. At times when life blows hit hopefully you can at least “stand dead in the water.” There are also times when you can only curl up and mewl like a wounded kitten. Staying Strong means doing what you can and no more. I am not a bible thumber but I know all sacred writings hold wisdom one should seek. This from Ecclesiastes helps me stay strong.For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
a time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
a time to seek, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
a time to tear, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
a time to love, and a time to hate;
a time for war, and a time for peace.
I post Be With Beauty only on weekdays now, so let me share these thoughts for the coming year. May all the world find peace, may our troubles be few, the sun shine often. May we know more joy than sorrow or pain. To stay strong and keep our hearts turned toward the light: remember what matters; find time to dance, laugh, play, sing, and love; we practice kindness; be grateful and find beauty.
Thank you for all you have given me.
