STAYING STRONG TIP: Life is full of small tasks that we do each day.  Life is also full of hopes, dreams, projects or goals that often lie in the distant future.  Taking pleasure in small completed tasks builds emotional fitness.  Think of all you have already done today and pat yourself on the back.  Teach others to say thank you for the small things you do.  When I do something for someone else, usually my Cranky Old Man, and don’t get a “Thank you” from him, I always say “Your Welcome. At least that way, I am acknowledging myself.

PRACTICE KINDNESS:  Don’t forget to thank all who do something for you.  I love to thank clerks and wait people.  I double my pleasure in doing so by adding a compliment.
