TOPIC 91 ARRANGEMENT  The Weekly Photo Challenge focuses on the word arrangement.  This arrangement captures a good memory and last spring’s flowers and my love of books.  I have lots of good memory arrangements scattered around my home and in my photos.

I took this picture to post last spring during lilac season. The good memory now  lies in the candle.  It was given to me over thirty years ago by one of our foster children.  It was her good-by and thank you present.  When I look at this hippo’s smiling face, I remember her and  I remember the good times as a foster parent. Happy tears fill my eyes as I type this.

STAYING STRONG TIP   Surround yourself with good memories and things of beauty, so you can always take a minute to breathe in, focus, thinking about what matters,  hold, breathe out,  smile and say “Thank You.”  Doesn’t always work, but nothing does, not even chocolate.  Still a good way to improve your emotional fitness and improve many moments during your day.
