MY WRINKLES ARE MY TATTOO AND HERE AND THERE A SCAR SAYS WHERE I’VE BEEN AND WHO I AM.
The question of the day: Do you have a tattoo? No. Would you get a tattoo? No.
For one thing it is against Jewish law, The law is taught as honoring the sanctity of the body because we are made in the image of G-d. In doing the research for my hoped-to- finish someday novel about Merlin as the child of a Jew and Pagan Priestess, living during the 400’s, I also think the source of the be because tattoos were often used to mark slaves. Having seen the concentration tattoos on some friends, adds force to not my wanting to get a tattoo. Vanity also says glad I didn’t get one because I have seen a few that have grown old.
What I might have done at one point, had I known about ite would be a henna painting.
Think all tattoos should be temporary tattoos–no hearts and names to explain when love goes awry. Not much more to say. Hope those you have tattoos are happy with them, I am happy without. Not an inspring topic for me. Almost didn’t post, but getting a bit lazy and need to discipline myself. So here it is.
Care, share, and stay strong.
