ABOUT THE PICTURE: Today was Cranky Old Man’s 74th birthday. Yes, I robbed the cradle as I am soon to be 75. Newest grandson is now 4 months old and he helps keep the crankies smiling.
Maybe is it our age, maybe it is that the fates or G-d or Goddesses have smiled on us, but any regrets we can summon up about our life are like mosquito bites in the jungle of life. That does not mean we have not been through some very tough times. We have stood dead in the water wondering how we could keep breathing let alone move forward.
But in looking back, regrets fade and we are grateful for all we had and have. We only hope our children and the grands and the others of the world will be so blessed.
STAYING STRONG TIP: Do what you can when you can and how you can. When you can’t, don’t. When you can, move forward. Above all and always, try to make the world better for those coming next.
