What movies do you watch again and again. The Daily Post Challenge question actually asks for one movie, but I can never pick just one book or movie. Some I love and know watching again will not make me happy–Gone With The Wind falls into that category. It is a bit dated now, but mainly the pain of the burning of Atlanta, is just too much to bare. The same with most of the movies about like a great deal but are very painful–A Beautiful Mind is one and most war or oppression moves fall into that category.
There are a number that I don’t watch repeatedly, but there are a number I watch at least once every year and might watch more than once.
Zeferrellli’s Romeo and Juliet.
Star Wars The Original first film.
I left out many Paul Newman movies, Lawerence of Arabia, Pretty Woman, Ghostbusters, the Godfather, Gladiator, Slumdog Millionaire, The King and I, High Noon, Shane, Friendly Persuasion, Smokey, National Velvet, Avatar the list goes on and on to a thousand others, but I do have to stop some where. I am sure most of you have a different list and if you post some of your favorites, I’ll use Netflicks to watch. Share, care, and stay strong.
