SLEEPING OR NOT?    I will sleep well tonight.  Have been up since six, limited my caffeine intake, exercised for 45 minutes, chased around after my grandson,   prepared a fantastic Shabbat dinner–my son and his wife are joining us, between the food and a glass of wine I will have trouble staying awake past nine.

When I can’t sleep it is usually I am not tired enough to shut off the worry brain.  I get up, read, do puzzles, write.  I comfort my self knowing I will sleep the next night.   I’m lucky.  My body doesn’t need a great deal of sleep and seems to know what it needs, so I listen to it carefully.  I do have to be careful when it comes to caffeine.   If getting enough sleep is difficult for you, my sympathies.
