DID YOU SHOWER TODAY? YESTERDAY? THREE DAYS AGO? LAST WEEK? A YEAR AGO? I shower twice a week, shampoo my hair once a week. Probably could do the one once a week and the other every two weeks and the difference would not be noticed.
No one has complained yet about a smell and I live with a man with a sharp nose who lets no smell go un-commented upon.
Unless working at dirty jobs, a daily shower wastes one of our most prescious comodoties–w ater. Moreover, it adds to the dirtying of our world.
Finally, the cleanliness business is big business and is a huge waste of money and resources.
Think clean enough before showering.
Afraid you will miss the calming effect? Try a lotion bath, I take one each night before going to bed. Is a mini-massage. I use a lavendar lotion which is calming and far more sleep inducing than a shower.
Topic #53 How long do you think you could go without a shower?
Did you know: The modern domestic shower was invented in the early 1800s( via wikipedia). For hundreds of years before that, in most of the world, people went their entire lives without ever taking a shower (and even today some of your coworkers probably still don’t shower enough).
