WORRIED ABOUT MEMORY LOSS, YOU ARE NOT ALONE

I am now officially a Wacky Old Woman, but if wacky means out of step with the crowd,  I was just as wacky as a young woman only less outspoken.  Sooooo–I have always been interested in what is Normal and What is Not Normal.

This link compares the  normal forgetfulness of aging with the more worrisome Alzheimer’s.  My life long learning disability involves some memory problems, age has added to them.  My doctors say I am doing great, but always add “For your age.”  I’d rather have the brain I had twenty years ago; not possible, so I try to be grateful for what I do have.

Staying Strong Tip:  Slow down has become one of the major reminders for me.  If I rush, I make mistakes.  I have taken on the song “Slow down you move too fast, got to make the morning last” as my newest staying strong slogan.
