  1. I’ve been thinking a lot about my *human* legacy lately — about my relationships, how I treat those I love most, and how they will remember me. And to piggy-back on your post I’d like to add a quote from Maya Angelou that really spoke to me: “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” Great post, Katherine.       • I’m very sorry to read that you get discouraged, Katherine. I do too sometimes, but then I remind myself of the Dalai Lama’s words that “The purpose of our lives is to be happy.” And then I decide that something is worth doing if only for the simple reason that it makes me happy … and that helps me carry on. I hope you will have a wonderful, inspiring, restorative weekend ahead.
