HOW TO STAY HOPEFUL – SIX EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE TIPS

Lines from Seamus Heany's The Cure at Troy

As many note, it is often darkest before the dawn. True, but also true, staying hopeful when life beats up on you is  a struggle. These tips might help.

Tip one: Remember what matters and what matters most are the people in our lives meaning both the ones who help us and the ones we help.

Tip two: Chance operates in everyone’s life. It starts with our. DNA, the building block of life. DNA was created to mutate and that means good things develop, but so do bad things.

Tip three: Change is one of the constants of life. When things are good, enjoy; when things are bad hope, pray to the universe, or the God of your understanding  for a “great sea-change.”

Tip four: Lift the curtain of self-blame. Bad times  almost always finds us asking “What did I do to deserves this?” Too much bad luck can find you saying “It is  hopeless” or worse, “I’m hopeless.”  Not at all helpful.

Tip five: Get every bit of comfort you can from the good life offers.

Tip six: Make our easy  Emotional Fitness Exercise Program a daily practice.
