Even when you walk through storms, you can glory in their beauty and wonder best by remembering past storms you have survived.
This Wordpress Daily Prompt suggests writing a six-word story about what you think the future holds for you, and then expanding on it in a post.
I first thought of these words of the Richard Rodgers, Oscar Hammerstein song, You’ll Never Walk Alone:
When you walk through a storm
Keep your chin up high
And don’t be afraid of the dark
At the end of a storm is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark.
My words: “Storming now, peace coming, walking on.”
Singing as I walk helps, so does stopping to rest when I cannot walk on.
And of course all my Daily Easy Emotional Fitness Exercises are designed to build the strength needed.to weather all storms.
