Brute fact: You do not control all the good or bad things happen. Best to work at controlling your attitude when bad things happen; however, sometimes even that ability gets taken away. What then? Endure as best you can, pray or hope for things to change. Until change comes not beat up on yourself if you are standing almost dead in the river of pain. Keep breathing, hoping for change. If and when change comes, look for a possible lesson, and be grateful you have been given a chance to move ahead with your life.
