LAUGHTER KEEPS YOU EMOTIONALLY HEALTHY

Purloined this from the Laughing Housewife; she got it from a company bulletin board.I changed it from an office joke to a Social Media Joke. Gave me a laugh and alluded to my rants about the divisiveness of much media and social media posting.

Emotional Fitness Tip

Laugher is one of EFTI’s Daily Twelve.  Remember to laugh with and not about another.  Not easy but the only way laughter works when being kind and bringing world peace is the human mission.

STAY STRONG

We all need to vent and social media is there for us.  At the same time endless venting embeds anger in your brain.  Stepping back, looking for a bit of humor usually lets you find a bit of peace.  If you cannot laugh, practice kindness.

One of the easiest ways to practice kindness is to like, share or comment as you do your internet surfing.  We all need affirming and most of us on social media want to be liked.  Do your part in lifting other’s spirit. Often being kind when you want to rant, opens the door to being able to find the humor in many rantings, even your own.

DISCLAIMER ONE: ADVICE IS JUST ADVICE NOT A GUARANTEE   Even the most learned researchers and therapists quarrel about how to stay emotionally strong.  Take their advice and mine carefully. Don’t just listen to your heart, but also think; don’t just think, listen to your heart. Heart and head working together increase the odds you will find advice that you can use.  As others have noted, take what helps, leave the rest.

DISCLAIMER TWO: FORGIVE MY GRAMMATICAL ERRORS  If you need perfect posts, you will not find them here. I will understand if you don’t follow, like or share my blog. Not only am I dealing with an aging brain, but all of my life I have been plagued by dysgraphia–a learning disability. If you hang in with me, thank you.

Work of mine that is professionally edited can be found in my books, available on Amazon and readable on any tablet, laptop, Mac, PC, e-reader or Kindle device.

Finally, you  might  enjoy my Emotional Fitness Pinterest Board.  I post and share health and mental health news, fun ideas, cooking for and with children recipes, stories and poems of strength, and Be With Beauty pictures as well as my blogs and because I am interested in writing and blogging tips on doing both better.

As always thank you all for all you do, stay strong, and may your life be filled with love, kindness, laughter, and lots of good luck.

Katherine
