I am on the road with little time to blog. This will be a week of re-blogs, and that means re-visiting things worth enjoying more than once.
One of the things I love about Colorado and many other parts of the West, are the canyons and the red rocks. In this picture The Quotidian Hudson outdid every red rock I have ever loved. These are the rock formations of Zhangye Danxia. Thank you Robert S. Johnson for this one. Amazing. And I was happy to see it labeled a non-photoshoped photo. Nature too often suffers from our efforts to improve on what is already real.
