THINKING ABOUT WHAT MATTERS

George Bernard Shaw

How big is you community?  Is it gated or open?  Exclusive or inclusive?  The path toward peace lies in open, inclusive communities.  Traveling that path improves your emotional fitness.  When is the last time you broke bread with someone from another country? Of  another religion? Race?

Taking time to think about what matters is an emotional fitness exercises.  The Thinking About What Matters quotes  become emotional fitness exercises when you  Breathe in, hold, read the quote with focus, breathe out, smile and say “Ahhhhhh.”

    • Thank you for your kind words. I forgive you (as if that matters) for living in a gated community. A number of my college friends do and are great people and to laugh at myself a number of my friends are black, gay, Muslim, Jewish, Catholics or Born agains. Anyway, you are right when you get clobbered by life it is hard to stay open. But you are young let and the older you get–at least in my case–the less you care about those who want you to be who your aren’t. Stay strong.
