IMPROVE YOUR THINKING SKILLS
Applying this WordPress daily prompt to today’s post Fireside Chat: What person whom you don’t know very well in real life — it could be a blogger whose writing you enjoy, a friend you just recently made, etc. — would you like to have over for a long chat in which they tell you their life story?
See my answer at the bottom of this post.
Parenting is hard work and the rewards not really available during the day to day struggles unless you make a major effort to enjoy the good times. The bad times all too easily hypnotize you into being burdened instead of fulfilled. Seeing a happy future for you and your child is a useful tool.
As thinking about the future is a trance state, this is a good reminder that trances and Sneaky Hypnotism is neither good or bad, but a tool to be used for either.
A tool for getting through the hard times: use his hypnotizing slogan, “Now is not forever.”
Also make a conscious effort to hold onto memories of the good times. I survived a”cranky don’t sleep child” by watching him when he finally fell asleep. Doing so built up loving memories.
