Beauty, whether in a work of art, a human face, nature, or music, beauty. Be With Beauty is an Emotional Fitness Exercise designed to strengthen your emotional intelligence.

Be with beauty emotionalfitness exercise.

Extend the power of this exercise by learning to  find beauty whereever you are; as the sage Confucius  noted, “Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it.”

One trick when beauty is not immediately visible  is to narrow your focus. Find a picture in a museum unappealing? Focus on what you do find appealing. Perhaps that is a color, the way a line swirls, or a form takes shape.

Surround  yourself with what you find beautiful you can practice this exercise off and on throughout the day. Use pictures, beautiful music, flowers, sea shells or even rocks to create beauty spots wherever you sit.  When you need a quick stress releaser, take a moment or two to Be With Beauty.

As always, thank you for all you do. Practice deliberate kindness by liking, commenting, or sharing whenever you find one of my posts useful in keeping you strong.

This post was somewhat inspired by this Daily Prompt: We Got the Beat Have you ever played in a band? Tell us all about that experience of making music with friends. If you’ve never been in a band, imagine you’re forming a band with some good friends. What instrument do you play in the band and why? What sort of music will you play?

One way to Be With Beauty is to be with music.
